In order to get started you will need to register online. In order to carry out this process you will be asked a series of questions related to your child’s current school records on file with Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS). The necessary information to complete the account registration is:
- MDCPS student ID
- Last 4 digits of student’s Social Security Number if on file with MDCPS
- Student’s residence zip code
- Student’s date of birth
- Student’s birthplace state or country
The process will take a few minutes and an email will be sent to you in 24 hours with the account activation confirmation .
The "Parent Internet Viewer" will allow you to see your child's grades for the current and previous quarter for the current school year.
**Important Note**: New assignments are entered all the time. This will cause the grade average for the 9 weeks to change. It is not a complete measure of academic progress.
If your child is missing grades in a certain class, please feel free to contact that teacher directly to obtain up-to-date information on your child's progress.
(Grades are not updated on a daily basis. Teachers may wait until the end of the week to enter all grades for that week.)
Click the "A+" Button to start by signing into the Parent Internet Viewer. You will be sent to the Parent Portal. Follow the steps in the Parent Account Registration. Information is available in English, Spanish, and Creole.
