2 plain plastic colored pocket folders (with pockets only)

1 plain plastic colored pocket folders (with prongs and pockets)

1 ½-inch white binder with clear cover

2 reams of copy paper

1 pack of plastic sheet protectors (25 count)

1 dry erase board (8½ by 11)

The following are the supplies your child will need for the 2009-2010 school year.  Please make sure that your child is prepared to come to school with all the supplies by the end of the first week of school.  Please label all supplies with your child’s name.  All supplies must be brought to class each day.  In addition, note that additional supplies may be requested throughout the year or by the special area teachers such as Music, P.E., Art, and Spanish.

     In addition to the above materials, students will be required to obtain and independently read two books per grading period. Students will be assessed on the contents of each book and will receive a grade accordingly. The books may be purchased at local bookstores, via the Internet, and/or may be borrowed from the public library. The following are the books required for each grading period:

           Dear Parent (s),

            In an effort to assist you in preparing your child for back to school , below you will find a list of  items needed for all required classes of middle school students. Since we will be on block scheduling this school year, we are asking for two binders so that your child can organize them, as well as other supplies, according to the classes he/she will have on each particular day (1-3-5 and 2-4-6). Each teacher will discuss/request the items needed for his/her  particular class on the first day of school. We hope that you will find this helpful.
